Mk1 Gal Ultima Aftermarket Dvd Headunit Issues

Hey.

I have a 1998 V6 Ultima with the 2007 rds headunit with multi-changer fitted as standard. I want to put my DVD player in so I bought a ISO Lead as instructed. I bought the PC9-402 lead that I was told was the correct one as my car has the amplifier fitted. Anyway I fitted it thisafternoon and the headunit powers up and works fine but I have no sound. The headunit worked fine before and was only a few months old when I removed it from my last car so I doubt the problem is my DVD unit. Re-fit the standard headunit and I have sound. Cant figure it out. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sorted it. Had to re-wire the ISO lead to supply a 12v switch to the amp wire (which took me fecking ages to narrow down)
