malcolm.dobell Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I have hired a liber-t box so as to be able to go through the "t" lanes on French autoroutes. The instructions suggest that "coated windscreens" should have a place marked out for such devices. The ideal position is adjacent to the interior mirror. I can see no sign of such a place on the windscreen. Bottom left or right hand corners look best. Does anyone have one of these that they have successfully used? Where did you put it? Thanks in advance. Quote
sparky Paul Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) Haven't used one, but I would think that the best place with a heated windscreen would be down the left or right edge of the screen, where there are no heater wires in the glass. The heat-reflective coated windscreens are a problem because the coating covers the whole screen, apart from the designated area marked for these devices. Edited April 1, 2011 by sparky Paul Quote
