Mk1 Galaxy 2007r Stereo Without Sound

Hi,

Mine is a Mk1 2.0 Ghia Mk1 Galaxy.

I've just fitted a Ford 2007R stereo, from ebay, and it powers up ok. However, I cannot get any sound. I have both the large black plug and the small yellow plug fitted, as well as the silver amp one. I can search and select all stations but I cannot get any sound!

I accidentally pulled the front off my old 2007 :lol: , but now remember that before I did the sound had stopped. I've checked fuseboard level 1 and all are ok. Are there more fuses for the amp, or do they have a reputation of giving up the ghost?

I'm due on holiday Monday and I'm not looking forward to a 4 hour drive without sound!

Any help would be much appreciated.
