Hiya,

Well I have TIS and I have the original Ford Handbook but cannot find my brake fluid reservoir. I have checked at back of engine were it says it should be!!!

I am mystified.

I've got a 98 V6 4X4. To get to the reservoir you have to remove the air filter box & helps if you can remove the air inlet pipe to the manifold. It's right back on the drivers side firewall, about a foot below the scuttle. You cannot see it without removing the above (Very badly designed) We replaced all the brake lines last year & had to dismantle half the car.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Remove scuttle tray (the one large bit of plastic under wiper mechanisms about a metre long 10 mm 3 screws use a long socket on 2 bolts behind lifted bonnet )

Then you will see it yellow cap behind drivers side just behind airbox left a bit there you go .
