Sgawi Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Dear all, We need to replace the turbo on our Galaxy and it looks a tight job...... Any Tips???? To me it looks like we need to remove the OS drive shaft housing to gain access and maybe release the OS engine mount so we can tilt the engine forward a bit. Any advice would be most welcome and appreciated :) . Quote
Sgawi Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 I don't think it's necessary to take off the drive shaft housing. After removing the exhaust I think the turbo is quite accessible over the suspension member/subframe. Quote

Sgawi Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Posted February 26, 2011 Thanks for the replies. Yes, having got it higher in the air I can see that after the exhaust is off, there is plenty of space. The turbo is blown! Hopefully it will be just the seals though. Bye for now :) Quote
