Interchanging Seats

Hi everybody I'm after some help.

 

I am looking at buying a Y reg 2.3 zetec but it doesn't have isofix. After scouting around for an answer it seems that the sharan and alhambra had isofix installed on their seats but the galaxy didn't.

 

Am I right in thinking that the seats are interchangeable between the 3 so if I find a sharan or alhambra seat with isofix I can just swop it for the galaxy seat?

 

Any clarification/help/advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Im pretty sure Isofix system was fitted after 2006 so you will have to find a post 2006 model Alhambra or Sharan to take the seats out of if you want the isofix option .

 

The seats are all interchangeable so they will fit your Y reg Galaxy .

Just noticed this topic but yes seats are interchangeable - as are the backrests and the seat squabs if like I did you want to keep the interior matching. an hour or so with some basic tools gave me an isofix seat for the middle of my mark 1 complete with lapbelt.
