tricky Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 hi all have looked at the faq part of this it shows great pictures but doesnt say if the car has to be running when undoing the small allen bolt on the bottom of the gearbox, post just says if correct oil level in box it flows out of the overflow tube if it drips then box needs topping up.as when i run the car up to temp the oil flows out of the tube when engine is off but not when the car is running forgive my ignorance but does this meaqn it needs topping up or more taking out as now that i have taken out some oil it sometimes stalls .can anyone tell me how to measure the oil level in box correctly please before i knacker the box!!!!
