As the title suggests i need help , I have a mk1 galaxy 2.0 litre petrol on an N plate, Took it for MOT failed on emissions of 1.95 co , Had a complete new exhaust system with cat , Took it for retest and emmissions were now 3.8 as the limit is 0.5 this was not good , Took it back to exhaust place who suggested it might be the Lamba (oxygen )sensor , Bought a new one had this fitted another

THANK YOU CYBORG , For putting me on the right track , Bypassed the secondary air pump with the 12v bulb trick, amazing passed the emissions with flying colours , Probably didnt need the new lamba sensor but there you go ,

So heres my next question do i need to reconnect air pump what does it actually do ? or do i leave the bulb in place, Might be a silly question but im definately not a mechanic
