Greetings from a Very Cold Germany this evening (Minus 12 and dropping!)

 

 

Please can anyone answer my question??

 

 

I have a 2001 (Y REG) Ford Galaxy 2.3 Petrol Ghia, there are Cruise control Buttons on the Stick on my Steering wheel,

 

but when I slide the Button, nothing seems to happen?? I have been looking for another Button to press but can

Once you slide the button press the end of the same stork when you have reached the required speed,understand there is a minimum speed you will have to reach before it will engage (and i can't bloody remember lol maybe 30mph)If yours doesn't work then don't worry it's very common and has been covered manty times on here already try searching for it ! :)

On the end of the left hand stalk, you have at SET push button, this is used to switch the cruise ON at THAT speed, and a RES push button which will RESUME that speed after you have braked, "clutched" or accelerated. Whilst in CRUISE, after SET, you can speed up by pressing + or slow down using -.

And once you've done that don't be that suprised if it still won't work. The 2.3's vacuum system isn't the most reliable in the world - but it is normally cheap to fix :)

had same problem and i had to have a new vacum unit fitted fords done the work and i think i paid about 120 pounds worth every penny as the c.c, is a great thing and will not work below 30mph
