A while back my temp controls & switches all packed in apart from fan control.

I took it to SEAT & basically just un-plugged & all OK again, luckily they did it FOC. Obviously a bad connection so I need to do it again.

Can somebody advise how to remove or get access. stuck on warm at the moment!!!

Well I worked it out for myself. Firstly I couldn't get my radio out, they had trapped the wires last time. Eventually the wires came free. Once the chassis was removed I was able to pull the cubby hole out to get my hand in the void.

I realised that there is a front cover over the temp dials which clips out.

I unscrewed the 4 torx screws and with a bit of effort and shove the dials came out.

I removed the leads to the speed & direction dials & replugged, unit still wouldn't work. the lead to the temp dial was unusual and you had to pull this little purple lever that eased it out, on replugging unit worked. It has about 16 connections so I gave it a spray with a cleaner. Refitted every thing and radio wouldn't work.

Luckily I noticed fuse 30 had blown, must have happened when wires got yanked out.
