In my mk2 Galaxy is a factory fitted Visteon DVD multimedia system. The system works fine for a short time (10mins) and then goes dead - no power to either of the screens or DVD unit itself. This is with the ignition/engine on.

If I then remove fuse 30 (yellow 20 amp) from the fusebox and put it striaght back in again, the system returns to normal working operation for a further 10 or so minutes.

I have changed all fuses and the issue still occurs and I'm now stumped for ideas! So I thought I'd post in here in the hope that someone else has come across this before.

Thanks.

Hi Gybe, you need the radio to be on for the system to work - if you turn the radio off then the MM system shuts down after roughly 10 minues - pulling F30 is the main supply for the radio which will self test when powers restored (and activate the MM timer again)
