paulh Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 What do you mean by lose it? Does the pedal just go to the floor with no resistance? Quote
diamond geezer Posted January 2, 2011 Author Report Posted January 2, 2011 i lose the clutch pedal. it goes down quite a bit and unable to engagegears unless i pump the peddle like mad. cheers for getting back to me Quote
Bigjeeze Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Sounds like there is insufficient fluid in the system and that as it heats up it's either leaking or boiling away. Quote

Excuse my ignorance but if clutch fluid was running low, would the brake fluid reservoir run low.Clutch does not slip at all just lose presure. This has only happened since i had brakes replacedand was presure bled. thanks all so far Quote
paulh Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Don't know about the Mk1 but on the Mk2 the brakes and clutch are fed from the same reservoir. Sounds like it would be worth bleeding the clutch through, again using a pressure bleeder. Quote
