If anyone is interested replaced the glow plug on mine today.

 

The part number is Beru 0 100 226 340

 

German and Swedish number is 180VG0080

just out of curiosity from start up how long is it before you get hot air, ive a mk1 with a mk2 5kw heater and it takes 20 mins i think i have the 3kw pump on so its taking longer than it should to heat up

Well the bugger wouldn't start last night!!!!!!!!!

 

But it fired up second time this morning? took about 10 mins to blow out reasonably hot air but that was just sitting at tick over.

 

Couldn't hear the pump last night but was working this morning so looks like will have to take that off and have a look.

depends how cold it was, on my other post about to cold for the heater , when it was

-8 the heater didnt start so i think thick diesel may have been the prob, i was right as soon as it went back to 2 or 4 it started up ok

if yours is a mk 2 gal then the code faults may need clearing before it will restart however the mk1 doenst have this problem, it will always try and start the heater.
