HI GUYS, I HAVE A 7 SEATER, AND AFTER I BOUGHT IT, I NOTICED THAT SEVERAL OF THE LITTLE HANDLES ON THE REAR OF THE SEATS WERE MISSING. (THE LITTLE CLIPS THAT ARE USED TO DROP THE SEATBACKS)DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE CALLED, OR IF YOU CAN GET THEM EASIER THAN THE MAIN DEALERS? AS I DID SCOUR THE SCRAP YARDS, AND HAD DIFFICULTIES REMOVING 2, TO THEN FIND OUT THAT THEY WERE VERY LOOSE, (as if there was something missing,)OR BROKEN.Cheers, Brian L.

The plastic handlse can be easily sourced at Ford - not too expensive either.

 

They do have a small metal clip on the end of the metal lever . This retains the plastic part. Hence the reason they were loose - the clip had probably been lost.

 

You have to enaure you get the correct colour - Ford may have to use your chassis number to match to the original car colour options. There are many shades of grey !

 

I replaced mine but they are easily broken again !
