Doing one side at a time, with the front wheel removed, remove the plastic wheel arch liner, there are only about 6 or 8 torx screws to undo.

You will then see that the rear bottom of the wheel arch is blocked up with several inches of mud and crap, so stopping/impeding drainage of water from the scuttle area. Rinse/scrape this crap out and poke out the small drain hole located on the bottom sill lip clear with a screwdriver. Unfortunately, you will probably also discover a large amount of rust in the area - so you may want to clean it up/wire brush ( as best you can considering its location) and hammerite it while you're at it.

Its a basic design fault, the bottom most drain hole is way smaller than the hole on top in the corner of the scuttle tray under the window. Any debris/small stone etc that gets washed down there gets stuck at the bottom and blocks the drain. Eventually the water finds somewhere else to go - into the car.

Thank you for the advice - Seatkid.

I followed your instructions. While the scuttle area on the top was relatively clear. The hole at the bottom near the mubflap was full of sand and dirt.

The drivers side footwell is not filling with litres of water any more.

However when it does rain I can still see the mat getting damp with water, and can feel a few droplets...

Although this is no where near to how it was before. I am wondering where else could it be seeping in from...?

Should I seal the other 2 small holes underneath the rectangular scuttle. See image DSC_6544.JPG.

Also do you know what the other black pipe fitting is in the photo - DSC_6545.JPG

As the water is also trickles down from the wing and driping down along the black pipe. You can see the black mark it has made.

Kind Regards

Did anyone sort there leaking problems because I have one now and my windows are constantly fogging up

You need to identify what is leaking - check the easy things first

Does the rear washer work?

Is the scuttle full of water?

Does the leaked water smell of coolant/are you losing coolant?
