beck Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Hi to all. Can anyone help with the following. I have a 1999 2.3 auto. The brake lights have stopped working and has consequently led to not being able to shift into drive e.t.c. I was told by fords that it could be the brake lever switch. This was replaced but I still Have the same problem. Was wondering if, it could be the starter inhibitor switch. Or if there is a relay that operates the braking side of things, or maybe the new switch is faulty. Real stuck as to where to go now. thanks Quote
