sadjack Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Hi All New here. In the process of buying a Galaxy and the one I have seen and quite like has a none standard radio/CD player with a blanking plate above it. The car also does not have a owners manual. Can anyone point me in the direction of an owners manual for a 2004 1.9 TDi auto and / or what radio unit should be in the car / where I might get one. Many thanks Quote
Rodders53 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Manuals are available from Ford dealers I believe (Ford's website directs you to their handbook printer's site which only goes back to 2006, though). Ebay have a few listings. Otherwise you could try a breakers yard for both? Quote
sadjack Posted October 20, 2010 Author Report Posted October 20, 2010 Thanks for that Rodders If I can identify the correct radio/cd player I am going to try and get the dealer to re-fit it as part of the deal. I am just not sure what was in there. I will try a main dealer as you suggest but in the meantime if anyone knows what was fitted I would appreciate it Many Thanks Quote
Mirez Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 Depends on Spec, for an 04 plate you got: LX : 6000NZetec: 6000NGhia: 5000N + CD ChangerElegence: 6006N The N basically denotes its got the special front bezel to fit the aperature. Non N's will fit but look just slighly out of place. The 5000 is a tape unit, the 6000 a single CD and the 6006 a 6 disc changer in one. Quote
