Fitting New Pollen Filter

I'm in the middle of replacing the resistor pack for my heater blower controls, and I remember reading in a thread that one possible cause of the resistor pack failing is that it overheats due to a blocked pollen filter.

 

I know the pollen filter is in the same area as the resistor pack, has anyone a pointer on how to find the filter, how to check it, or how easy it is to replace?

Cheers SK, it looks straight forward, even though it isnt quite where I thought it was! I have been getting some off problems with what looks like condensation on the outside of the window, and I'm wondering if this is related somehow now that I have seen its position. Cheers..the tangs are fine...its getting the metal rods back into the hinges without breaking the plastic thats my problem! I'm under orders not to mess it up....
