Guest sammyuk Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 hey every1 :) i was jus wonderin if any of u new if tail pipes make any difference to the sound of the car or r they there jus to make it look gd?
Guest DervMan Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 It's all about the back box. http://www.dervman.com/forum/woot.jpg This is Kermit's new Powerflow system. He now has a burble to him when idling, but it's not especially loud on the hoof - but the tail pipe design has very, very little relevance to the noise produced. Powerflow can customise it to how you want it to sound - from loud to quiet, from booming to burbling. We wanted something subtle that looked to our taste... :( There are a couple of other shots of the exhaust on my site. :(
Guest JIMSTDI Posted June 27, 2004 Report Posted June 27, 2004 you can but tailpipe ex,with bulit in flap to change the sound a bitbut your best bet is to change the back-box itself!!!!
Guest cjohnson Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 i just bought a tailpipe, hardly any much of a sound difference, only a little bit becuase metal is rubbin against metal and causes a slight sound difference.
Guest flappyplasticbits Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Do you mean tail pipe or back box?
