Parking Sensors Prob

Hi,

 

We have a 2002 Galaxy 1.9tdi. It has a parking sensor malfunction, i cant find any info anywhere in all the docs we have for the car (and we have loads!!) i have been told it probably isnt a fuse as it will be shared and other things will not be working (sensors are the only thing that arnt) i have read it may be loose wires, can anyone help to advise me on where they will be??

Cheryl, where abouts in the south west are you? Ideally you need someone local with diagnostic equipment that can scan it for you as it'll tell you exactly what sensor is giving you grief. If its a wire its most likely to be at the connector on the back of the rear sensors - however its just as common for the sensors themselves to go defective.
