Hi Guys,

As you can probably guess from the title of this thread, the 3 dials in front of the gearstick, which control the heating/cooling, air conditioning and airvent direction, don't illuminate when the headlights are on. It is a real pain when driving at night, and trying to work out how to de-mist the front window or how to get some warmth directed at your feet.

Not sure if it's relevant or not, but I've also noticed that the lamp for the cigarette lighter doesn't work either, despite there being power for my phone charger, and the bulb, which I presume should light up the ashtray, doesn't light up either.

Ordinarilly, I would have assumed that a bulb had blown, but surely not this many in a relatively small location. All other light appear to work fine, i.e. the dash etc.

I can only presume that these "failed" bulbs share a common fuse or connection, but I can't make head nor tail of the wiring diagram in my haynes book.

Any advice gratefuly received.

Thanks

What year and model Galaxy have you got?

Do the controls still all work? A common problem seems to be that something goes and takes out the direction and heater control, although the blower fan speed is unaffected.
