I had a previous topic where I got advice on a problem with a lack of power. I Changed the MAF and air filter, I also noticed a hole in the exhaust which I had changed.

Now the turbo does kick in but trips out betweem 3200 and 4000rpm when hot.

I assume that it is going to be sticking vains in the turbo (please correct me if I am wrong)

But now the car is using alot of fuel, mpg has gone down to 22-23mpg where it used to be around 35mpg.

Any suggestions?

have you checked the vacum pipe that goes to ecu
