Sunroof Seal

Here we go again rains here sunroof started leaking again replaced it 2 yr ago second hand so whent to frauds to price a new seal <_< told they only come as a complete unit and that 400 quid thank you (cheaper to put a new roof on the garage) is it possible to replace the seal

What sort of sun roof is it, Slide and tilt, or Flip up type?

Have you checked that the drainage tubes aren't blocked?

Some times it make you wonder if its worth answering these questions !

 

They put a question on and you never see them again !!

sorry gents had a call out its tilt and slid and cleaned the drain hole last wk Edited September 26, 2010 by gravesyt

Check that the drainpipe is still connected, it is only a push fit and seemed a little short on mine.

I reconnected mine and held it with a small jubilee clip and all is well.

Remove the sun visor and awitch panel in the headlining,a pillar trim just pops off and the top bit of the door seal and pull the headlining down slightly at the front corners and you will see the pipe.
