Mike2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Hi I have a 2000 Mark 2 Galaxy 2.3 Auto, The problem I have is as the title suggests, It will not start! The ignition comes on all the electrics work yet the car will not turn over at all we are at our wits end! We have been having this problem for weeks now the last time we had a mobile electrician look at it he said it was the auto gearbox ecu` we had changed and it worked for a few days and now back to square one! I have read on this site something regarding `relay 27/30` and also I believe there is a common fault with the soldering on the relay - could any one please help in any way with this, Or indeed any members who live in the Manchester area and have resolved this problem via the relays or soldering please let me know. chromedome Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Have you tried starting the car whilst wiggling the gear shift in either neutral or park? Sometimes the inhibitor switch has been known to give problems. Quote

victor meldrew Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Try adjusting the inhibitor switch half a turn, there is a small grubscrew on the top.Worked for me. Quote
