Guest smokey Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Hi Newbie here. With another kid on the way, an MPV is a must. A few questions. Does Ford make an aftermarket bodykit for the Galaxy? What is the biggest size wheel you could fit on a Galaxy and what offset do I require? Any info, much appreciated. Thanks Quote
Guest nimrod Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 body kits try Fords own web site they have a set of side skirts, front and rear poilers for both the Mk 1 and 2 or try........ http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/sharanprices.html http://www.abtsportsline.co.uk/ http://www.caracterestyling.co.uk/ http://www.zwostyling.co.uk/index.shtml Quote
Guest OXO2 PUB Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 without getting stupidly expensive tyres the biggest you wanna go is 18x8.5 mine are on an ET35 but I think ET45 is the standard iirc tyres for my wheels (Khumo Ecsta) cost me Quote
Guest nimrod Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 Khumo Ecsta I used to run those but I found they wore a little to quick for my bank balances likeing :) I now run Mitchelin sp2's they may be a touch dearer but so far I'm getting a higher milage from them! mind you I only run 225/45/17's and get the Mitchelins @ Quote
Guest OXO2 PUB Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 I'm not rating the Khumo's personally compared to the Eagle F1's I had on my previous Leon and even the standard Pirellis that I got on the bamma. They lack grip big time Quote
Guest nimrod Posted May 1, 2004 Report Posted May 1, 2004 They lack grip big time but they are not as bad as the first yokohama's I ever had! those things were sensatile lubricated! first drop of rain and it was spin city  Quote
Guest nimrod Posted May 2, 2004 Report Posted May 2, 2004 a couple more body kits........ http://www.oettinger.com/ and a uk stockist........ http://www.roadandsport.co.uk/ Quote

I get a discount at RSD so that could come in handy Need some good tyres too getting a switchable remap soon that should see 176 horses so wheel spin will be greatly upped in the rain :P Quote

Guest nimrod Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 I very nearly bought the grill and twin light conversion last year at GTI international it was only the fact of filling the large round hole where the VW logo sat that put me off! Quote
Guest OXO2 PUB Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 lol I'm hopefully going to Inters again this weekend if I can find some more staff for my pub, was in the club section last year but were not attending this year. Quote
Guest nimrod Posted May 3, 2004 Report Posted May 3, 2004 The pre face lift model is the most common shape that the majority of companies make body kits for! another site... http://www.tuningshop.co.uk Quote
