Sat Nav Map Update

I currently have a Ford Galaxy MKIII with a Denso Sat Nav system but once I go south of Milton Keynes the map plays up and goes blank (version 2005-2006).When i look at the disc it is scratched which may explain it.

 

I have downloaded version 2008-2009 and when I put this in the unit it shows the map no problem even south of Milton Keynes however it will not let me enter any destination or postcode.Recent destinations and the home position work fine.

 

Any ideas ? - I tried putting in the 4.40 software update disc and nothing happens so assume I may be on the correct version - how do I check

 

Are there any later maps available for download worth trying ?

All Sorted I now have a fully functioning Sat Nav on the 2008-2009 Maps.

 

After searching the Internet I found a few comments stating that some players don't like the software update on CD as per the instructions.

 

I burned the files to a standard DVD and after inserting the system began to update to version 4.40 straight away.

 

All Post code and POI now fully working.
