Not at all, noticeably stiffer over speed bumps but not bumpy at all but as above, best improvement is the body roll's been eliminated.

Mine dropped 32mm at the rear and just 11mm at the front which suits me down to the ground as its an MPV at the end of the day and I dont want to be kissing any speedhumps.

Blimey, that looks excellent. Love the ride height now. Yours looked lower than mine as standard for some reason, maybe the alloy wheels.

Love the de striped doors as well. Easy to do?

Don't know why, might just be the photo's as they are only 17" audi wheels over the standard 16"s

An early, pre Mark photo lol:

Removing the strips was easy enough, just painfull and time consuming getting all the glue off! I also ended up with the paintwork being much lighter under each one (should in theory have been darker!) which was apparently water in the laquer - ended up using a heatgun on each door (gently!) to remove them, but yes, it looks much better now as a result :)

Hi Mirez.

I have been looking around for a set of shocks for the front. Starting to think it may be a wise move before I even try!

Which did you buy? Are they any good?

Cheers

I used KYB ones, seemed to be ok - certainly rides fine now - tbh, I spent a good couple of hours looking into what to buy - it seems to all be down to personal preference in the end with any shock up to about

The deed has been done.

Springs had sat in the garage for far too long. I never really had the time, so the I got the garage to fit them today.

All I can say is wow. What a difference in the handling. It feels like a completely different car.

The best way to describe it is that it has stopped wobbling. Very very pleased.

Pics to follow if anyone wants them.

Ford sell an Eibach suspension kit as an accessory kit for the Mk3 Galaxy which will lower the car by 30mm . Price is around

Does anyone know where i could get a set of lowering spring that will allow my car to be lowered more than 30mm drop, my Galaxy is the MK3 2.0tdi, i can only find the Eibach springs but it wont lower the vehicle more than 30mm. Would prefer coilovers but i cant seem to find any.

As far as I know , coilovers arent available for the Mk3 Galaxy

Ebay Germany has some 40mm springs on there for sale , but thats the lowest there is that I can see so I guess youre out of luck if you want lower.

Pity you didnt have a Mk1 or Mk2....Ive just bought some AP coilovers that drop my Mk1 90mm at the front and 65mm at the rear .
