1999 1.9 Tdi Towbar Wiring

hi has any one fitted towbar to 1999 1.9 tdi cant find the plug in rear Left side is it somewhere else on this model many thanks in advance

Wired it up today went in on n/s vent spliced into loom with scotch locks, recoded module 9 by adding 8 and hay presto all working no bulb warning light problems and dash light works when trailer connected

Scotch locks are not the best way to connect wireing, they are not very relabel, so when you start having problems check the scotch locks first.

 

The best way to connect the wires is to cut back a small amount of insulation, and solder the wires and re-insulate, you will have a much better

reliable which will never fail
