Remote Central Locking

I'd like to fit remote central locking to my VW Sharan. However I still want to retain the use of the factory fitted alarm.

Is the alarm activated by a micro switch that will accept the negative (?) feed from the remote locking kit? or is there another way that i'm missing?

You say you have Factory alarm

You dont say what year it is.

If it is the carat then it should have had remote locking

But anyway remote locking will activate alarm as well ( im sure )

The wires are at drivers door loom

Or at factory alarm/cdl unit under passenger seat

Oh and by the way it is possitive feed extend pulse on lock and windows roof etc will shut
