Remote Central Locking From Key Fob

Hello

 

Remote central locking from the key fob stopped working on my 01 2.3 ghia yesterday. Opened rear passenger door then the boot, went to lock it by the remote and nothing. Replaced batteries today and still nothing.

 

Light on key fob flashes.

 

Alarm works from door lock.

 

Central locking works from door locks.

 

Thought it might be one of the door courtesy light switches but all seem ok.

 

Any idea's would be welcome

Look at post 69 in FAQ. There you can find LED codes. This

might help diagnosing the problem or narrow it down at least.

 

My son accidentally sat on the remote key so it opened and

the small code device fell out. But he didn

From memory you have to resync the key

 

I think this is my holding it in the door locked position and pressing the lock button.
