Cannot Open Boot

hi all

 

please can someone help me with my boot, closed it this morning and now cannot open it.tried keep pressing the key and the central locking seems to open and close all the other doors but not the boot also if i put the key in it does not turn,the only thing i can think of is that it is not completly closed but no light on dashboard comes on, can i open it another way manually .....do not know what to do.

 

any help would be appreciated..

bit of a pain that one if you get in the boot you might be able to get a screw driver in the lock and force it or you can try and get your hand through the panel where you change the bulb and fiddle arubd till you can reach the boot mech and do it that way best of look

as said take off panel in tailgate to access door lock mec and pop tailgate, then when tailgate is open repair the broken wires you probably have in the rubber boot to top right of the tailgate very common problem done mine twice now on two cars.

thanks will give it a go...did try with screwdriver to move lock inside when i eventually got everything out of the boot but no joy....will let you know.

sorted finally got it open, sore arms and finger and thumb...lol
