pashfield Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 I cannot get my 1998 galaxy into programming mode. I have tried every method i can find, but none work. I have heard that some fleet hire companies disable keyfob programming, and mine being an ex-fleet car, could this be the case? If so, how do i re-enable it? Quote
big boy stevie Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 i think ive read it can be disabled by vagcom, so would need vagcom to re-enable it are you getting light to stay on drivers door, i bought new battery for my remote all lighting up fine but just wouldnt program got my mate to try his key worked fine, i bought a key from ebay and worked first time all working and a happy bunny.
