Jayton Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Well not really. How bad is it on the PD's? :lipsrsealed: Quote
seatkid Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 (edited) Probably. The PD system is pretty much bombproof. Lubrication of the injector cam is external. Its a low pressure feed so the electric pump will be alright. It will have stopped as soon as the petrol came through as petrol wont compression ignite. Youll be OK and dont let any garage try and con you otherwise. Remember to drain the fuel filter! Edited July 13, 2010 by seatkid Quote
Jayton Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 Got the call from the garage... SHE LIVES! But my wallet doesn't Quote
seatkid Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 You could have done it yourself - drain the tank and fuel filter - new diesel and away! Quote
Jayton Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 Yea, I could have, but my boss wouldn't let me have the morning off work nor for the rest of the week as we're really busy. I also thought it would have been about half that price, which is why I thought just get it in to the garage and let them sort it... Quote
