ee0u30eb Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Hi, My wifes MKII Ghia gal is having a problem with its Air Con.... it doesn't blow cold at all. She took it to Halfords for a recharge but they said it didn't need doing as it was at the lower end of green. I have tried checking all the relevant fuses but was unable to locate 104 and 105, apparently these are under the bonnet. I have located the power distribution box under the bonnet, however the fuses here haven't got labels or numbers so I don't know if any of these are for air-con (they are all fine anyway). When the climate control is set to low, there is a hissing noise from the passenger side, somewhere near the glove box it would appear... what could this be? Thanks for any help in advance! Quote
Mirez Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Normally, hissing noises from the passenger side are a sign of low gas - is the panel flashing when you first start it? Try a more reputable company to check it properly. :D Quote
