i have the above stereo in my galaxy it has a picture of a telephone next to the name and im asking does any1 know what this means

I believe it just means it's capable of being configured to mute the stereo when a mobile phone call is being received. Possibly even to route the phone's speakers through the car's speakers.

I think that is right - I have the 5000 in my car and the phone speakers (via a Parrit Kit) go via the radio with mute automatically applied as and when a call comes in or is made.
