Strange Holes. What Are They For.

I have just bought a 6 month old (95) galaxy ghia. It has two holes about 5x3x3 cm with metal spring clips at the back just below were the rear windo opening mec would be. the dealer couldn't tell me what they were for ( shows promise!)

Any one have any idea?

Their for storeing the seat belts in when you remove the rear seats, to stop you getting tangled up in them you unclip the belts from the mounts in the floor, allow the belts to retract and clip the loose ends into these holes
