Reflectors Or Lights Back Door

Hi there

i have a galaxy zetec 1.9 tdi and i have seen reflectors or lights on the back doors can any one tell me which is which

I have just bought a 2001 tdi ghia and it has lights in the back doors and in the sides of the boot
