Galaxy Cd Auto Changer

Hi all

Could anyone please tell me the make of the CD auto-changer unit for a 98 2.3 galaxy...the head unit is the 2007R

Most commonly fitted OE unit is a Visteon unit, this is Fords own brand, although a few other brands will work do a few searches on the topic of multi changers or visit a few car audio web sites.......

Dont know if this will help but my friend supplied me with a sony for my earlier ford which was also a 98 .

Can i put any replacement cd changer in or does it have to be the same as the original..the one i have now has broken.

As long it is compatable with the head unit and has the correct plugs on it, it should be ok, check out the list of compatable changers on the sites I posted an see if you can find one elsewhere for less?

my ghia came with the head unit all the wiring but no changer tight or what anyway i purchased a sony 6 disc mulitchanger went to my local audio shop and ordered the box of tricks that converts ford to sony speak, removed the box fitted the changer plugged the wires in luvlly jubbly. :D
