bj2004 Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 98500 miles and second mot just sailed through had a split inner cv boot as an advisory last time that has repaired itself only critisism of the car i have is front tyres ony do 12-15 k so is a new set evey year but apart from that its best car ive ever had this site has prooved invaluable for little niggles tho have a great summer guys Quote

I would consider having a look at cleaning, re-greasing and fitting a new boot if necessary, it's a lot cheaper than a new driveshaft in the long run. Surprisingly, inboard joint gaiters are not testable items, only the outer as they are classed as a steering component... so my tester says. Quote
