Faulty Rear Passenger Door?

Hi peeps,just a quickie.......

Im having trouble with one door locking/unlocking ( rear passenger) on a MK1 X reg Ford galaxy.

The problem door will sometimes lock but more often then not it wont. all other doors lock fine when key is turned in drivers door?

Ive read on here about locating the black box under passenger seat but i havent got one in there? i dont have remote central locking if this helps? just wondered if the black box that everyone talks about is hidden anywhere else or is it more likely a problem with the door internals?

 

Sorry to write so much but missus is moaning daily that she cant get little one in and out etc <_<

think you need to check for broken wires in the door pillar,do a search very common problem.
