Hi All

Being a new member I do not know if this topic has been mentioned and answered before. I have just bought a mk 1 galaxy down here in Bournemouth.

I have not been able to get the Cruise Control to work. I have read a few threads in this forum regarding vacuum pipes becoming perished and detaching them selves from the nicely hidden vacuum pump behind the indicator lamp.

My question is a little simpler. When you move the sliding switch on the steering column to turn the Cruise Control on, is there any indication on the dash board?????

I cant find anything in the owners blurb and dare not go to my local ford dealership and appear less than intelligent......

help this new member please.

Hi david,

There is no indication on the dash on the MK1 vehicles.

I believe this appeared on the later MK2's....probably 2003 on ish !

Can you put your vehicle type 1.9 tdi...2.0l petrol....GLX etc in your signature it helps for anyone answering your questions.
