Where all the Sony DAB a generic fit, i.e. would one from a 07 Focus fit a MK3 Galaxy? Thanks

As long as the model you get from the focus is the same shape as the Galaxys then yes.

There are 2 types for the Galaxy a square one in 2006 and some 2007 models since then changed to the round type.

Headunit is it this one it will fit a new er version of the galaxy ie 2008 onwards and some 2007 if fitted with the same shaped head unit, if it is the square unit ie Old headunit. this will fit 2006 onwards with square unit.

Thanks. Much appreciated. I have the earlier square fit.

I'm hoping a change of head unit will improve the sound through the current speakers. I also want to get DAB on the move (USB in and bluetooth would be good also)

I think I might go for an aftermarket single din. I'm going to have a look through the ICE section and see what other people have fitted as there must be 10 or so speakers - 6 + 4 tweeters. I remember a few of the guys went for a Kenwood head unit. But, if anybody has any suggestions?? Cheers. Budget is max
