GSMGuy Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 (edited) Firstly, do we have an "S-Max" sub forum, I can't see it if we do?? Secondly, picked my car up earlier, and loving it - But have a question, that prob relates to the Gal too.. Car is a 2009 Titanium X S-Max, with the DAB single slot Sony CD and Converse+ Instruments... It has a 3.5mm aux audio input in the glovebox, but no USB input, for Ipod and such like (yes, I know I can use the 3.5mm, but I want "full" control...) So, is it possible to either fit the USB input myself, or have it fitted and enabled by Ford, so that I can have full Ipod functionality, ie display in my Dash? I presume that it's just a case of fitting the socket, and possibly enabling the option, similar to when I retro fitted cruise and trip computer to my 2002 Galaxy TDi? Mike #oh, and does anyone have a source for the 13pin towing socket plug to twin 7 pin sockets? My car has the optional detachable towbar, but apparently they don't come with the lead as standard??? GSMGuy Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 Cheers for reply, have been doing a bit of digging, and it looks like my car already has the high spec BVM (Bluetooth Voice Module) So it could be as simple as just fitting the additional USB connector - According to this page: http://www.fordmondeo.org/forum/showpost.php?post/1918058/ Am going out to check software version on my car now....
