Electric Window Mechanism Replacement

hi my friend recently bought a ford galaxy think its 1999 or 2000 model 2.3 ghia when he got it there were no mechanisms or motors in the back and the front 2 just made a noise but didnt work so hes bought a scrapper which is a year older same colour with the plan to just swap the doors which we attempted yesterday we got the back 2 doors changed then did the front passenger door but it wouldnt line up properly or shut so we have now decided to put the original doors back and just take the parts out. weve took the old ones out at the front or rather he did but cant work out how they go back so does anyone have a diagram or a method for swapping them. also to add when we put the back doors on the windows still didnt work (or even make a noise though the central locking did work so is there also anything else this could be such as a relay or control box etc or will all 4 need to be connected for any to work/complete a circuit?
