Swopping Starter Motor

can someone tell me if its possible to change the starter motor from above rather than having to remove the undertray etc, looks like you can but would like a pro to confirm afn 110 tdi on a 98 s reg thanks

um done mine but think it is easier from below..just drive onto ramps do an oil and filter change while your there...only takes a few mins...

hi there i done mine today in about 20 mins best to go from the bottom on some ramps
