anyone had probs with the main heater controls. on mine it works on 3 and 4 but the aircon goes off on 1 and 2 its the aircon works but heater doesnt blow .its not the aircon because its works fine in the back and ive changed the main switch ... waiste of 90 quid!!!

As mentioned by topbloke the heater motor resistor pack has been covered before including photo's of the pack :( but they are no longer on the forum :(

so........ the resistor pack is located on the side of the fan unit up under the dash, best way to it is to remove the lower glove box, then you should be able to see either a green or alloy metal plate bolted to the side of the heater unit with a cable plugged onto it? this is the resistor pack, remove and replace it and the fan should run at all four speeds?

glove box is removed by opening it and locating the stops/supports on either side open the box till it wont open any more and push the stops down out so they disengage the slot and open the glove box up a bit more allowing you to see the pivot clip, pull the glove box out of these and store it safely as you will need it to fill the hole again once you have finished fixing the heater :(
