Mirez Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Found it fascinating just how far this stretches, also how many airports are closed as a result! Quote

kebrina Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 It's all a conspiracy, connived to disguise something much more sinister than a whopping great cloud... Quote

seatkid Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 (edited) My holiday plans were blown apart when I turned up at the airport on Thursday morning 6am and everything cancelled.....why is it always ME???? I read somewhere that 3 out of last 4 eruptions of this volcano triggered nearby Katla volcano which is much bigger. However, the danger is that the small volcano is just the beginning and that it will trigger the far more powerful volcano of Katla, which nestles beneath Myrdalsjoekull. Most drivers who weren't trying to squeeze out 56 MPG would have got there earlier and been ok . Quote
