NASC Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Looks like I may have a stuck flap. Wherever I put the control the air goes to the screen, the rotary control now is harder to turn at the end of its travel. I suspec a cable problem but the garage tells me it is 6 hours labout to gain access. Is there anything I can check to confirm the cause before I splash out on 6 hours (or 12 hours doing it myself!)?Thanks all Quote
marinabrid Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 i think there is a vacuum supply to the controls, check the pipe, it runs through the bulkhead under where the air con connecto goes through, if i remember its a thin pipe taken from a bigger one in the engine bayif your getting no vacuum then the flaps wont move i THINK this is right , but as always if im wrong someone will put us both right Quote
