2 Weeks For Ford To Get A Power Steering Pump?

Hi,

 

My 56 plate 2.0TDCI has blown the power steering pump, it is under warranty with the Carshop, and they have today told me that the Ford dealer in Cardiff cannot get the part for 2 weeks as they are totally out of stock in the UK....does this sound a little fishy?

 

I will be ringing a few local ford dealers to see if the story stacks up!!

 

Anyone else know if the pumps are in such demand?
