Manual To Automatic?

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to convert my Galaxy 1.9TDI Ghia 2006 from a manual gearbox to an automatic.... if so any idea of how long the potential process is and the potential cost. I would have to get someone to do the work for me ie: dealer...Many thanks .....Nick

Everythings possible, but thats an involved project. To start, you'll need the boxes swappped - the driveshafts are also different so will need to be changed. You'll then need to add the auto controller and all its wiring - if you have a doner vehicle of similar year it wont be that hard but it will be time consuming and if you are paying someone else to do it I doubt you'll see change from
